Apple Cinnamon Protein Muffins

These amazingly moist and protein packed Apple Cinnamon Protein Muffins are sweetened with maple syrup and are the best post workout,breakfast, or fun pick me up on those cheat days or after a hard days work.

These muffins will keeping you coming back for more each time and are delicious served cold or at room temperature.

For the most enjoyable experience, try them with a tall shaker full of Tri Lean whey protein from Outlaw Laboratory. My favorite is the chocolate or salted caramel.

Apple Cinnamon Protein Muffins

Serves: 6 muffins

  • 1 cup Kodiak Cakes Protein Packed Flapjack and Waffle Mix
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup apple, diced
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup applesauce, unsweetened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla



  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and spray muffin tin with coconut oil or line with muffin liners.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk dry ingredients together. Add apple and stir to combine.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk wet ingredients together. Add wet to dry and stir until just combined.
  4. Divide batter evenly among 6 muffin tins.
  5. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let cool for 10 minutes before removing muffins from tin and onto cooling rack.
