The traditional morning trend in the fitness world places a focus on oatmeal everywhere you look. An entire grocery section dedicated to essentially dried grain flakes that soak up water and turn into paste, often resulting in a filling bloat and occasional stomach discomfort depending on your body. Why not step up the breakfast game a bit and live a little grain free in the am?!

That’s where the awesomeness of this grain free power oatmeal comes in to place! Reduces the long lasting complex carbs that are in the oatmeal replacing them with wholesome and delicious ingredients design to have you feeling goo and looking good, all while helping you feed your morning delights!


  • 1/2 medium apple or 1 small apple
  • 1 date
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened coconut
  • 1 heaping tbsp slivered almonds
  • almond butter for topping
  • splash of Silk Cashew Milk

*for added protein mix in 1/2 scoop outlaw vanilla TriLean whey protein!



  1. Cut the apple and the date into small pieces* (they don’t need to be teeny-tiny, just a quick chop will do), and place them in a small food processor. Add the chia seeds, coconut, and almonds.
  2. Pulse mixture until grainy and oatmeal-like.
  3. Spoon the mixture into a bowl and top with almond butter and milk. Stir together and eat!

Enjoying this power oatmeal recipe is just the beginning of a grain free transition, and you’d be amazed at how you’ll feel with grains nolonger stuggling to be processed in the body! I mean afterall we humans were originally designed to eat plants, nuts, fruits, and meats……. grains just so happened to be easier to farm!
