Weight lifters, body builders and other athletes are always on the lookout for a better and stronger pre-workout supplement which will give them just a little more extra energy, push and muscle mass. Here is the review of the five latest, most popular supplements on the market.
5. NO Xplode 2.0 (by BSN)
N.O.-Xplode 2.0 is a pre-training performance and energy booster. Its goal is to prevent muscle fatigue and promote muscle endurance and strength. Its main ingredient is nitric oxide, a vasodilator which decreases the cardiac workload, speeds up muscle growth and increases stamina. Reviews are generally very positive and with eight flavors, there is something for everyone. Most reviewers report huge energy boosts and rush of blood, without crash.
4. NO Shotgun (by VPX Sports)
This muscle building supplement by VPX is supposed to boost the users’ bench press by 1067 percents. It is a powerful pre-workout energy booster, which assists in quick recovery and weight loss. Its main ingredient is nitric oxide, but it also contains a mix of active ingredients such as arginine, which stimulates release of insulin, glutamine, which plays role in protein synthesis and improves cellular energy, and a number of other amino acids. Great reviews so far report increased energy and focus and fast recovery. The taste is not its best feature.
3. SuperPump Max (by Gaspari Nutrition)
Superpump Max is designed to increase strength, lean muscle mass and significantly boost energy and athletic performance. It is also meant to reduce fat percentage in body, and fight muscle fatigue. This is another nitric oxide energy booster, with added proprietary blend of active ingredients, mostly amino acids. Its reviewers report measurable increase in body pump and clear focus, as well as visible vascularity. Several reviewers preferred previous version of the product and complained about the price. But overall, positive reviews when it comes to a pre workout supplement.
2. 1 M.R. (by BPI Sports)
1 M.R. is another nitric oxide-based pre-workout supplement that is supposed to promote energy and strength and provide powerful pump. It does not cause cramps or bloating and provides highly enhanced focus. It has 300 mg of caffeine, so people sensitive to caffeine should be cautious. Some of the other active ingredients are Beta Alanine, which promotes endurance and prevents muscle fatigue, L-Taurine, which promotes cell hydration, and creatine, which promotes muscle growth and boosts energy. Most reviewers report great results in the gym, with increased energy, endurance and focus. Some reported bouts of aggression.
1. Jack3d (Jacked) by USP Labs
Jack3d is popular nitric oxide-based pre-workout shake advertised as a product designed to provide intense energy, focus and pumps. The energy is long-lasting without crashing. Jack3d effects extremely fast muscle growth and engorged veins that body-builders desire. Increased focus and endurance provide superior exercise experience. Besides standard energy supplement ingredients such as creatine and caffeine, Jack3d contains germanium, which assists in the bringing oxygen to cells, and Schizandrol A, a central nervous system stimulant, which greatly enhances other stimulants such as caffeine. Reviewers report powerful increase in strength and endurance, but warn that the product is powerful and that the people who are not used to supplements should be careful and should start with smaller dose.

What pre-workout do you like the best?

Of the five on this list I have only tried Jacked actually. I do have a sample of Superpump max laying around so I might be giving that a try now that I see this. My favorite thing about Jacked is how concentrated it is. The last thing I want is a stomach full of liquid before starting my workout. Gives pretty good mental focus, lots of energy, but not much of a pump. Overall my favorite to date!
Brandon i would certainly give 1mr a try its super concentrated as well. I have used jack3d before and really like 1mr but then again different stuff works different for everybody
